The blood sucking creatures under estimated the small furry cats and were soon proved wrong. The battle was short and a heavy loss for the Yuuzhan Vong. Soon, a fleet of Katperial and Catperial Star Destroyers and Chiss Clawcraft squadrons appeared out of hyperspace. The Supercommandos retreated to the moon of Mandalore when the planet was evacuated.
They Yuuzhan Vong Fleet arrived and a battle raged as the citizens of Mandalore. The whole galaxy was soon aware of the Yuuzhan Vong presence and the Mandalorian Supercommandos and the Death Watch took side of the New Republic. The Bespin Wing Guard held off for a short time but was forced to retreat. By that time, the Yuuzhan Vong Fleet had taken over most of Hutt Space, and the Hutts fled to the Senate Building on Coruscant and negotiated with Luke Skywalker and Mon Mothma.Ĭloud City was evacuated when the scouts reported the Yuuzhan Vong ships coming to Bespin. The New Republic troops were taken by surprise and were outnumbered, but held out Intel reinforcements from the Katpire came and helped out. They were noticed a while after they left the Unknown Regions. The Yuuzhan Vong first came unnoticed through the Unknown Regions, passing through Katperial Space. The Yuuzhan Vong were repelled eventually, but some remained in the galaxy after the war. Many factions took part in the war, and took heavy casualties. The Galaxy took several years to rebuild what was lost.
The many planets were devastated and were forced to be abandoned. Most of the organizations in the Galaxy were part of the war. The Yuuzhan Vong Invasion was a three-sided galactic conflict after the War of the Reconstructed Emperor.
